A Derbyshire man, Geoff went to Nigeria as a teacher before ordination, intending to stay for two years but was there for five. The whole of his ordained ministry has been in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham - 17 years in parish ministry and 16 years as Chaplain with people who, alongside their varied gifts, have a learning disability. This chaplaincy included, many time, being part of team-leading retreats and times of renewal such at Faith & Light and L’Arche - in the UK and elsewhere.
